Origami House Inspired

This is one of the few that I was searching for. Folding Structures + Architecture.

From World Architecture News, origami lends a hand to UK architects creating this private residental extension. Because of the existing house’s unique geometric properties coupled with origami’s indefinite possibilities, the extension folds at the rear of the residency to create a new kitchen and dining space.

Frameless glass windows create dramatic views to both the sky and the garden, whilst the black zinc cladding provides a striking contrast to this fragmented transparency.
